Why? Because the classic /lit/ screencap where OP is showing off his racist novel where like one in five words is the word "n*gger" (i will not post racism outside of /b/) has him off-handedly mentioning the idea of mass-replacing every instance of "n*gger" with something totally irrelevent and inoffensive like "gumdrop", so that the novel could be published. The thing about doing that is the entire structure would be unaffected, the author's description of "gumdrop" behaviour and culture and mannerisms would all be the same, everything would be the same, but it would now have this layer of assumption which I think is quite funny because the context would still have the readers come to understand the message despite it supposedly having been obliterated and replaced with something completely unrelated.
