I agree but was moot right in that they needed a containment board all along? Could the mods be able to purge any fallout from nuking /pol/? Surely the consequences would be absolutely disastrous for quite some time. This is a terrible situation. I’m not sure exactly what the powers that be get out of it. I know that it has been utilized by several think tanks and now has grown into its own organism with reach even into the inner circles of Republican establishment as well as a driving force of the last Presidential vanguard. This is a heavy burden. It has changed the fabric of chan culture. I long for our days when it was just for the lolz.
