>>13878400There are five ways to unlock Gon.
1st way: Complete arcade mode with Doctor Boskonovitch.
2nd way: Defeat him when he's your opponent in ball mode (unlocked after beating arcade mode with ten different characters). He will be your first CPU opponent.
3rd way (easiest): In survival mode, when asked for initials, put in GON.
4th way: On rare occasions, you'll fight him in arcade mode if you get a 'Great' victory (winning a round with a sliver of health left). Defeat him.
5th way: Selecting any character 650 times will unlock Gon (as long as it registered in records on character usage).
