The thought can be liberating, however. If he isn't around or simply doesn't care about our plight anymore, we don't really need to spend our days worrying about what is right and what is wrong. Just do what suits you and what makes you feel happy I guess.
I do believe he still listens to those that ask him for help sincerely and with no ill or egotistical intent. I know I have asked for help and stuff that could go very wrong went right in my life.
