ohayou, dont mind the brief ID change.
>>13886227Good moves by Twoot all around, I’d say. Wasn’t the original goal of 22chan to be a comfier, old /r9k/-like community anyway? I forget if that was 22chan or some other altchan.
Either way, you don’t really need a discord server or /pol/ for that kind of community, you’ll just end up souring it. I’m glad Twoot took those steps, even if the site slowed down a little.
>>13887518>I figured their target audience must be children.I just remember that there are a few capeshit films that are rates R, so the intended audience isn’t entirely children.
Either way, I don’t remember what my point was with this tangent, apologies.
>The thought of having to keep on working forever in order not to end up on the streetsyeah... and of course, being filtered out of stem hasnt alleviated those fears.
plus you’ve gotta make entirely new connections and figure out how to get around all over again. ah well, hopefully its one of those things that isnt too bad to deal with once you get your foot in the door.
>before I started coming here I had no idea you could see this many starsi remember hearing a story about... new york city, i believe. they had a power outage across the city, and without all the light pollution they could see the full night sky.
except, a lot of people called the police because they thought aliens were invading...
im not sure if thats just an urban legend or not, but it happened in the late 90s i believe, crazy stuff.
i’ve driven through a lot of comfy little towns before, but honestly the rural midwest isn’t what it used to be, so i know that dream of mine isn’t very feasible. your best bet is to find a sleepy suburb here, as opposed to a small town.
>And are you satisfied with that?i’m ok with it, yeah. giving such things a large amount of thought never really gave me comfort to begin with, so why worry about it right?
