Touhoufags have literally not evolved their sense of humor since 2005. It's like if all anime posters did for the past 15 years was post that girl in the green dress and spam "desu" incessantly. It'd get fucking old, just like Touhounigger spam has.
It's the same reason no one likes soiteens: They have one lame schtick and they do it constantly.
