>>13905755I did a lot of things. At the time, the majority of the board was comprised of homosexuals, and they were so pernicious they would disrupt non-gay threads. They were, however, concentrated in a few threads that were extremely popular.
I started by just telling them, "stop being gay" and spamming the offending threads. This is a two pronged attack. The first is very catchy propaganda that easily sticks in their brains. The other is disruption of their ability to get what they want out of their errant behaviour, and makes eventually makes them desperate for a solution.
I created the problem, so I can control the solution.
Once I had established my slogan and forced them to be willing to interact with me, I reacted very calmly and explained why they needed to stop being gay. Since my points were reasonable and well-put, some of them were willing to concede to my demand. Additionally, I was able to convince some of them to turn on their fellow gayposters and assist me in deterring their behaviour.
After this it was just a matter of removing the keystones of the gayposting threads, which I handled on a case-by-case basis.
As opposed to other anti-gay posters, I didn't make threads telling them not to be gay or complaining about their behaviour in a meta fashion, since this validated them and encouraged their behaviour. Overall, my campaign was pretty effective and the majority were dispersed and sought greener pastures, or made them realize being gay is wrong and to correct their behaviour. Most of those who didn't simply stopped posting about gay shit so much.
