>>13936868yeah i think you'll be able to make progress on talktomeinkorean. if you know the grammar and some words, you'll be able to infer what some sentences mean and hopefully eventually improve. duolingo's course is shit, i think alphabet 3 is that abomination where you learn brand and sports team names right? cannot think of anything more retarded. i'm not too good either, but if i was only with duolingo, i'd be worse off.
that said, their section on hangul is very good about teaching you all the different pronounciation rules. not alphabet 1 and 2, the seperate section for hangul it's on a separate tab on the app, idk where it is on desktop. it's pretty huge, don't think that just because you know the individual letters, it's over.
