We're called to rebuke anyone who teaches or compromises the teachings of Christ and to disassociate with them if they refuse to submit to God's authority through His written word.
2John 1:9 Everyone who goes on ahead and does not abide in the teaching of Christ, does not have God. Whoever abides in the teaching has both the Father and the Son.
