>>13960086These are the threads that get me to post, how is the midwest nowadays? I mean, from what I hear the old culture is gone, they're kinda like everyone else now. Boxing isn't as popular, the people/families are getting as shitty as everywhere else (if not already), crime/drugs are bad and well, yeah they can't keep anyone single because unless you have family there there's nothing for you. The two things they had going for them, housing and food isn't what it used to be especially the former. Also, lot of farmers are selling their land to developers, it's the taxes. Just how is it out there now?
>>13960087Here's the problem you're going to run into, culture and the huge resentment they have towards transplants nowadays. Even if you want to contribute people in places like that have either been screwed over badly or know someone who has. Look at all the legislation being passed (heartbeat bill, election stuff etc.) That is the attitude now, make places like that so inhospitable to transplants it stays a poor shithole. Sucks but hey, that's human nature, when you see how shtty the American people have been it's no surprise that now its our turn to go through this. What would worry me if I had family, one of the women running their mouths off and pissing the locals off. Once things get bad and there are no more white cops to police neighborhoods watch out. One thing the midwest and western states have in common, arson. It's already happening out here a lot, just like during the depression. You're call, do as you like. That being said, I have a couple blue blood transplant friends who I get along with, they contribute. They're kinda worried though, they see how folks are getting out here and are worried about their kids.
