Also, being mexican, here there is a lot of culture revolving around food, specialy on older generations. 40 y.o. and up women tend to make lots of food for their children and grandchildren, teasing if you eat little, and a heavy mentality of "the best way to someone heart it's throught their stomach" and other similar things, so it's kinda normalized and pretty common to find chubby/fat girs/women.
