It's just a choice. Cig addiction isn't really difficult if it's real at all. I quit cold turkey It's more like a habit. I've been addicted to benzos, and quitting that shit makes quitting cigs a piece of cake. I've been off cigs for 3 years now. Once in a while I'm like "damn i need a smoke" but that's only because i watch Alfred Hitchcock and there's always someone smoking on that.

I am smoking like 5 cigs overall during the week and if i drink on the weekend it can get to a whole pack but i toss half of them anyways at the half while being drunk. I really have no idea how someone is able to smoke more than 10 cigs a day. After a couple it gets so disgusting. Anyways, my internet was fucked the last two weekends. Oldfag here..been off the tobacco jew for almost. 15 years. It is rough at first. You have to get rid of all paraphenalia. Stop doing thimgs thay trigger smoking...for me was drinking, coffee. Curb cravings with sugar free gum and carrots. Stop hanging out with smokers- they will always try to pull you back. Cravings will be with you for a long time. Dont waste money on nicotine gum, or meds..cold turkey is the only way..break free. Good Luck

I got off using a tobacco replacement. In your case, stock some up and buy pouch. Roll up with the replacer and slowly consume less tobacco and more of the replacer. Till you have 100% replacer and then quit that too.
For me, pack a day but I quit after smoking the replacer for 2 weeks. Be sure to get a nice replacer with a variety of herbs mixed in.

i smoked cigarettes 30 years. had my 1st one at 9 (right after my first beer), but didn't start as an actual habit until about 14.
i put them down about 3 years ago now. i took up vaping for a while, but really didn't like that. now i just subsist on 100% pure, white-hot hate.

Yeah. Was a pack a day smoker for a couple years. I switched to cigars and/or rolling my own cigarettes. Then I started working out which was the biggest thing that helped me quit. You can do it OP.

I quit. Been done over 6 months now after smoking for ten years. Im 32 now. Helped that I quit drinking alcohol almost two years ago.

My advice is to weigh yourself every day if you quit smoking so you don't end up eating the whole time instead of sinking cigs

I became a vapefag. Discovered the habbit of inhaling/exhaling "smoke" was a stronger addiction than the physical nicotine one. Vaped and smoked a bit so that I could get used to it, and then dropped off all cigarettes one day. There was a few days of feeling like I needed a cigarette, but it was mostly managed by the nicotine in the vape. After about 2-3 days it was over.
