>>13976569>I'm a Christian>I'm not sure about the whole thingYour belief is not strong. It waves like a leaf in a violent wind. The Biblical account of God is by far the most accurate in my opinion. It makes far more sense to believe that God is His own "self", and has His own mind, heart, and feelings than to belief that He is just some arbitrary and abstract "thing". Some even compare God to a "computer". This is utterly ridiculous and absurd. If we, Mankind, have our own minds, hearts, and feelings at our humble place in creation, then why would the God who made us be abstract and arbitrary? God is so infinitely beyond us.Even animals, who are lesser than we are, have some level of sense and understanding.Surely the one who made everything is even greater.
And it's all one giant "coincidence". We have 4 seasons that work harmoniously together. We have a sun and a moon; 2 great lights in the sky (and only 2. Perfect) that rotate around us and give us our night and day.The Earth provides for us food and water and everything necessary for survival. There is what we call a "cycle" of life.Everything works so specifically and deliberately together. There was CLEARLY a mind behind this. This is why people call it "Intelligent design".That is to suggest that what made all things is not just simply "someTHING", but truly "someONE".
"If God wants us to believe, why does He hide?"
Who on Earth said He was hiding?
Does not the Bible say OVER AND OVER AGAIN, "Seek ye the Lord"? He literally tells you to come find Him.Someone who wants to stay hidden doesn't ask you to seek them out. And the Bible suggests that God even performs "signs and wonders" in order to tell us something. The Bible tells us that God sent numerous prophets to His people throughout the ages to let them know that He was with them.He gave some of His people the ability to do things that are to us irrational and impossible (such as parting the sea).God seems to go out of His way to show us that He is there.
