There is a resemblance between demonic encounters and alien abductions in that there's often paralysis, sexual violations, feelings of fear, etc.
Now the reason it's being done I think is because demons are doing something with human genetics. Possibly trying to make organic human-like husks they can possess amidst us. Their technology very well be manufactured. When you watch how their craft move, it's like they're in a different dimensions or can phase in and out of our reality.
I think in the end of days, the "aliens" may come and offer us solutions to our problems. They may even come proclaiming a different gospel claiming to have "the real one" as they never fell like humans. The pope has even talked about baptising ET's into the church.
Some of these craft are likely man made with tech that was given to them.
