The left suggests subsidizing it with tax money, but the problem won't actually be solved until the people making it expensive are regulated. The left and the right are stuck in this game where they keep trying to force each other to pay for their lifestyles but never come to the realization that the argument wouldn't exist if they just killed the thing ruining their lives.
