>>14030941At the moment I have seven different browsers installed on this machine, of which three of them are currently open:
(a) Comodo Dragon (that I am posting this from);
(b) Opera;
(c) Microsoft Edge.
Different browsers have their own strengths & weaknesses and I find it convenient to set them all up to maximise their advantages, while minimising their weaknesses.
Like I have Comodo Dragon set up to clear its history (and everything else apart from the bookmarks) automatically, when it is closed down. Bing is set as the default search engine, but I use 4chan's
> Post menuto access Google image search without pissing about signing into Google, or agreeing to their inane
> " Terms & conditions " ;every fucking time I want to use their dubious facilities.
Opera has a free and largely adequate (optional) VPN and a very good new tab page that I can customise to specific things I am frequently (daily) interested in. It is set up to open all previous session tabs when opened from a cold start: = they are the things I am always interested in.
Google is set up as the default search engine, but I rarely us it in Opera, because it is completely set up to open with all the things I am likely to be using = around a hundred grouped tabs that give me immediate access to the things I routinely expect to be there.
I have Microsoft Edge as my default browser, but I mostly only use it to fire up automatically when I click a link from an email that I have received via MS Outlook / MS Mail.
Bing is the default browser.
I have no problems with Firefox, but I rarely use it = I mostly leave it on its default settings and use it to check up on unusual behaviour patterns, if someone has a problem with it and I want to see what they are banging on about.
Three of the installed browsers are optimised for very high security with fairly specific purposes.
