These instructions are easy and coming from a 96% racist american born white male, i have my credentials.
>get hamburger
>get buns
>get american cheese
>anything else you like--i like ketchup and bacon
>form hamburger meat into balls appropriate size for your buns, the meat will shrink a bit
>put balls onto baking tray and squish them into hamburger shapes
It can help to sometimes get your hamburgers into shape and then put them in the freezer for a few minutes so they maintain their forms.
>put them in the oven on 375 degrees fahrenheit and bake
>20 minutes later flip them over and bake them more, 10-15 minutes
They'll cook thoroughly in the oven and in their own juices
>take them out when done baking
>put them in a pan on the stove on HOT and sear both sides
>at around this same time toast buns lightly
>put the american processed cheese (american processed cheese) on them and melt it in the pan
>get patties on paper towel if you want a bit of the bottom juice/grease gone so it doesn't soggy the bun
That should be it. Doesn't even need seasoning with the cheese and ketchup or whatever. My dad always made burgers on the grill and they didn't turn out often. These burgers will taste like fast food but you just made it so it's better. After much experimentation I perfected these and have had the same result three times--best burgers I've ever had and very simple. The most important parts are searing the meat after cooking, american processed cheese and lightly toasting the bun. I tried many times to make these good burgers only in a pan but it doesn't work, the hamburger doesn't cook properly and it is a lot messier in a pan and the meat fell apart often. Bake the hamburgers and use the pan to sear the outside for flavor. This is the best way to make hamburgers, better than any I have ever had, not complicated at all just made complicated by retards.
