So I don't know if this will work for anyone else, but what I do is eat once a day, anything I want, as much as I want, but only once a day, after that just water, or water that I put at most a quarter of it's original volume of juice into. I also run 4 miles every other day, it works for me, but I don't know about other people.

And I'm pretty sure these agencies aren't like that today. In Norway (imported from the US) there was a Fat (as in the nutrition) scare in the 80s and 90s, maybe this is what you are thinking of. Carbs are the problem, not fat, as we know today.
