I grew up in a Baptist family, lost all interest in religion during my edgy teen years, and lived a worldly life during my 20s. I desperately want to change and start living my life for a higher purpose than immediate selfish gratification. My biggest hurdle right now is overcoming the 'logic-brain' that says there is no God and such things are fantasies, but the other part of my brain is CRAVING that higher intelligence. The thing that drives me back to religion isn't seeing a miracle or anything but witnessing the evil running rampant in the world and the satanic qualities of the one world govt that's beginning to form. Many of the things I was taught in Baptist Sunday school are coming to fruition, and that frightens me.

I'm open and willing to the Gospel now that I'm older and more experienced, I just need some direction. Have anyone of you ever gone from believer to atheist then back to believer, and how did you do it?
