With the exception of Anti-Darwinians and Nihlists, We all live life for the good times, and endure the hard times to pursue a state of consistent good times which also posses enough challenege to continue to give life purpose. Not all of us, (or most of us) will never reach this state of 'perfect retirement,' others may find it unconventionally, but all who pursue it will face suffering and cause suffering by their own pursuits in order to reach it. Ultimately contributing more to the creation of entropy.
It all boils down to this:
Do we place value on an individuals contribution of ENTROPY to the universe?
choice to life = high-entorpy
choice against life= low-entropy
Given a known limit to the amount of entropy possible in the universe, (the max amount signals one possible end of the universe)
the choice against life by some might be seen as benefitting those they leave behind.
In the end by which metric are we measuring "Superior"
