Go to the gym unironically.
It got me more addicted than video games but at least it feels slightly more fulfilling. I literally cannot function without it, I cannot sleep without gym, my mood dramatically increases if I skip a day, my body gets anxious and I have conditioned myself to lift metal things for the rest of my life or at least until my joints give up and I never get up again from the pits of despair that will be wherever is that I had fallen. People will mark that place on maps and nobody will dear to touch my body, as to not spread it's contagious miasma of ten thousand days of coping.

I'd tell you to work out at home for the first two or three months but working out at home SUCKS!!!
It's HORRIBLE. Unless you have a very big room and speakers or a seperate room for it in general. Otherwise it's absolutely horrendous. Once you taste the metal fruit of machines and freeweights you could not buy for a decade of your wage work, you will never want to go back to that old mat and some hantles you bought from Amazon.
You go to the gym to leave your comfort zone and fight your insecurity with time and effort.

Find a workout buddy!
I was and still am very insecure about how I look but as long as I have a friend with me I’m able to forget about all that!!
If it helps me maybe it will help you!!
Or at the very least start out small and do some calisthenics on your own!!
