Sometimes you fail, that is part of life. But failing and trying and failing and using it to excuse yourself to fail more is degeneracy. Failing and then doing whatever you can to correct that failure, that is struggle. Now that is being a man. Even if you fail again. The victory is as important to learn from as is the failure.
Those who only look at their victories and forget the history of mistakes are doomed to repeat them.
Start by getting your knowledge up to shape, read history, read about great men. Then take inspiration.
Note that inspiration and larping is two different things. The goal is not to become them literally, because thats not "you" with it's strengths and flaws. The goal is to learn where they failed and do better. To carve your own path.
Let me give you a practical example:
The praetorian guard in rome have a fatal flaw: They could easily appoint a new emperor because they literally had first hand access to the emperors. Bribes were common.
They basically became whores to gold, and got power they should not have.
Thinking about why the praetorian guard failed and what could have been done better is a example of learning the mistakes of others who came before you, no matter how many titles or how great they were. In the end, the praetorian guard finally got rekt. The lesson could be something like not depending to hard on a particular faction and ensuring there are checks and balances in place to prevent such a faction from gaining a stranglehold over succession.
Men are also capable of corruption, it's just that it's more work involved in corrupting men rather than women. Jews still have resistance to their globohomo ideals even some 300-400 years later after they really got their hand into the dough because of it.
