I bought an ips 240hz and it's not noticeably better in quality than my tn 144hz other than the refresh rate of course. still the same amount of blur on fast moving scenes, and the viewing angles are the same to me. also don't buy a 27" unless you are an avid league or paradox game player. when important information is at the edge of your screen in an fps game it takes away your focus from your crosshair because there is literally a larger distance for your eyes to travel back to the information. stick with 24.5" or lower
