My maternal line routinely lives into their hundreds, is high energy, rarely and remains functional almost indefinitely. My 80 year old grandmother came and helped us move the other day, carrying heavy boxes, hauling things around (she took the jab though unfortunately, think she wants to die deep down tb qh). We also have pale skin and green eyes.

How could I ever hope to just meet someone that can match that genetic (especially mitochondrial) quality? I never used to think about it, but in my later 20's this truth has truly set in. If I had cousins maybe I not only would, but should. I have begun to understand it goes well beyond old world property ownership, family connections, and so on. The matrilineal structure simply makes sense in a lot of cases.

The future grows bleaker.
