it's fine if you piss directly into the drain. also do it early in the shower so the smell is gone by the time the shower's over

I've been doing it for so long it becomes an urge to piss whenever i step on the tray even if i just cleaning the shower, so ye i do it right at the start
And i don't aim into the drain but i quickly wash it down with after im done, i don't even start to washing myself(with soap) until im done
