I see so many minorities and mixed race people dismiss any form of racism as:

In an attempt of self preservation they tell themselves any and all differences boil down to skin color to avoid addressing other qualities that could cause them be viewed as objectively inferior
and there's a flip side to this as well. For the exact same reason, mixed race people with lighter skin will say:
>I'm nothing like that brown person, how could I be? just look at the color of my skin
No one cares more about 'whiteness' than people who don't have 100% European DNA and you can see this for yourself all over North and South America.
