Im reading it right now as well, got halfway through and it seems like it so far desu, pretty sure a couple of spells were taken directly with few small changes from Enuma Elish desu.
Really reminds me of Liber Lilith as well desu, in its structure.

Not really, they explain everything you need to know before describing the rituals themselves and the other part of the story.

Id take Nero`s route over Princess girl or Nuns route any time of the day desu.

Simon is supposed to be the guy who translated it from greek i think? Or if you`re asking if its the right book, you got it right, theres a long intro, then the part where Mad Arab describes the ritual to summon the 7 ancient gods and opening the gates and shit, and i havent read further yet.

Yea thats the one alright... The 50 names of marduk is a nice way to make it artificially longer however though.
It might not be the real one but it shows nice similarities between lovercraft and sumers.

Real one might as well not exist...But if it does, id rather have De Vermis Mysteries or Unaussprechlichen Kulten in my hands desu.
