>>14205762my guess is some kind of event the brain misinterprets at some developmental stage that it associates with sex when it shouldn't. i have been a degenerate a long time and people often mention a period where they picked up a paraphilia and never lost the association and its usually around puberty i guess but i don't know. you could probably run some fucked up experiment to give someone a paraphilia if anyone would let you by stimulating them while they see something and the brain might just do the rest.
sexual sadism however and such things could be just an extension of a personality disorder they already have. or sometimes sexualizing something is a coping mechanism so people who have experienced or dread humiliation could find a way to alleviate that fear or confront that experience by treating it that way
i have no references for anything and am probably wrong but who cares. i can see a dozen ways someone associates some non sexual thing with sex. dunno what it would have to do with homosexuality though because genitalia is definitely involved
