why are 4chan mods so stupid? why do they love creating so much work for themselves?

because 4chan's board philosophy sucks
Nichan, Dvach, Futaba, they all do it better.
Here is how I would do it if I were the 4chan admin:
Make 1000 useless boards nobody is ever going to use like Nichan. If people are unhappy with one board they can just go to another board like it would happen on Nichan.
All the big boards need at least one alternative board like Futaba. So you would have one stricter discussion board and one whatever that boards topic is flavored board where you can just post whatever.
Having 1000 boards wouldn't be a problem if you reintroduced that feature that 4chan used to have where old threads automatically get deleted so slow boards wouldn't have more than 3 pages worth of threads and therefore cost less storage space
Delete /vg/, and start deleting general threads again; instead make more boards that can fit what those generals are made for like the /vg/ spinoffs
and there also needs to be /qa/ replacement, some kind of blue random board that is actually listed on the rules page.
