>>14229723Personally, I look at it like it's currently:
>my foot feels wrong>here's some medicine so your foot doesn't feel wrong>my penis feels wrong>alright snip snip it isThere should at least be an alternative, treating the mind instead of feeding into it's illnesses.
Ideally, I think that should be the norm at least for right now.
If someone really REALLY wants to be the other gender, they should be able to. But the medical science isn't there yet. Even if they blindly defend the current botched surgies that make things worse, they're still human and they deserve better than what their communities circlejerk. If they want different genitals, don't give them a flesh wound shaped like genitals. If it can't be done yet, it just can't be done yet.
On a sidenote, something I don't get about the trans community, is that they're against any alternatives. The goal is to stop feeling dysphoric, is it not? Why does it have to be surgery? If medicine could make you feel better, why not opt for that and openly support the development of such? Feels like the ones that insist on full transition being the only way are only trying to be trendy. They don't want to feel better, they want to be one of the transgender croud the world is forced to shower in love. If it wasn't about bandwagoning and making their flags the cornerstone of their personalities, any solution to the feeling should work, no?
That's my 2¢ anyway
