is there anything wrong with going to the cinema on your own? i used to go on my own all the time as a kid until i got bullied about it and now i haven't been since avatar

I used to go see foreign films all the time alone, because my friends didn't really care for that stuff. Stopped going because all the independent theaters got shut down. In fact, if I recall correctly everyone in those screening I went to were alone, too. Pretty normal.

I sometimes go to midweek matinees. As long as it isn't summer the theater will be pretty much empty. Pretty comfy.

I haven't gone in a couple years though. They charge too much and I can't pause it to go pee and replenish my drink.
