I stopped believing in Christianity when I was 16. I’m now 26 and haven’t been able to get myself to believe in it again, no matter how badly I want to. I go to church, I read the Bible, I pray, but it just feels fake. It feels like a way to get people to bond together, but that the supernatural/spiritual part of it is complete BS. I grew up Protestant, but I’ve been to Orthodox and Catholic parishes as well and spoken with people there, and while I’ve met great people through all three, I just can’t believe that a man rose from the dead and that we will have and afterlife based on submitting to that man.
Did I lose my spiritual connection or was it always just a LARP for people to connect culturally?
