I like yuri because the romance usually has less shitty predictable problems like a second love interest coming into the mix. instead they have to deal with a lot more realistic problems, mental health, past trauma, family circumstances, going to school etc. also I like cute anime women and cute anime women scissoring sounds fine to me. all this being said I enjoy regular romance anime.
