No that's perfectly fine then, she didn't look comfortable at all there but perhaps one of the effects of the curse is to make her seem the opposite of what she really is, now that I know this she can carry on being cursed if so she wishes.

It's not the opposite, she really, truly and absolutely love being in this state - which is not a curse at all. It's a natural state of "becoming", not a curse, it's like she is flowering. It's beautiful, for her, she loves it. No need to worry!

I see a lot of people claiming smooth-brainedness but I don't believe they have a single lick of physical evidence to support those claims and instead are deprecating themselves to reinforce their low self-esteem in some sort of bizarre comforting ritual

I don't know, I find her smile very strange. Here's this picture for example. I can't tell what her face is trying to convey. Is she happy? Her smile is huge. But then why are her eyes like that? She seems sleepy at the same time, or in some kind of trance. Why is Uzuki like this?

No, I have to deliberately focus to engage my mind's eye due to the aphantasia thing. My visual memory is also very poor so even if I tried I would likely not be able to recall the specific image.
Maybe Uzuki is trying to appeal to s*ylords and become a s*y idol. Which is very thoughtful of her.

I won't be able to visualize a specific image in my head. I still remember it. I would recognize it if I saw it.
Funny enough, my ability to recognize details of images often exceeds that of people who have the natural ability to visualize, probably because the means by which I do so is more efficient for that purpose.

Yes I've seen that you are more likely to notice small details about pictures which others overlook. Is it because you had to learn how to visualise one small detail at a time in order to end up with a bigger and more complete image?

And I used 'recognize' specifically because it refers to memory. The attention to detail is different but probably complimentary to recognition.

No, it's because if you cannot visualize then you use words or non-words for lack of a better way to put it to make up for the deficit.
