And they know a lot of people are fed up and would you want to give up your sweet gig if you could just have goons shut them up? Britain has a long history of extreme resentment between London and everywhere else. The US has an incredibly complex economy and society. We're simple: no history, tabula rasa, private sector underpaid, public overpaid. It's stark and frightening and I hope people elsewhere take note of it, because every group of public servants wants an Ontario Teacher's Pension Plan backing them and manipulating things in their favour.
