There is nothing after this life. Nothing matters, nothing at all. Even procreation is meaningless because humanity will devolve into a dysgenic nightmare within the next few hundred years, will be unrecognizable in a few thousand years and stop existing in a few millennia. This is all only a blink in time historically.
We all come from stardust and will become stardust again, and there is no meaning to any of it. Life is a transitory happenstance we can celebrate if we want, but most of it is suffering.
And don't come at me from a religious angle, religion is a ridiculous coping mechanism billions of people somehow convinced themselves into believing in because they don't want to face the truth I just typed out.
