Any video game that doesn't run on Linux doesn't run for social reasons at this point. Even the kernel has been modified to support redirecting Windows style system calls.

Game developers exclusively support Windows because it's one of the OSes that partitions the developers from the users and gives them more power.

Different approaches to freeware. WinRAR asks for you to purchase its enterprise version or shows you ads on some platforms. 7zip doesn't outright request donations and you actually have to go out of your way if yo want to support the project.

It is literally so stable that trillion-dollar corporations trust it to run their servers. If it's good enough for them, it's good enough for you. If what you meant to say was "unreliable", use a rolling release, they will have all the latest bug fixes and patches.

All my games work on my machine. Native Linux gaming is useless, as long as proton works, I'm happy.
