Because there are drug interactions which do effectively do this (ex: antagonist + agonist), but this is not one of those scenarios. It is also important to understand that you can't reverse an overdose by taking one to counter the other, although alprazolam will remedy some milder OD symptoms of amphetamine.
I enjoy taking a benzo with my stims, just to take the edge off. User that experience anxiety when using amphetamine may find this solution appropriate.
