Trying to get into I.T from an unrelated field. Got a certification from Cisco which is a fairly big and Well-known company in networking / I.T
I see people all the time making tons of money in I.T with no degree so I don't believe that is the problem however these people usually have experience.
Unemployment seems to be fairly high, Doesn't seem like companies are hiring despite tons of positions being posted
Perhaps, With unemployment being so high there is a TON of competition compared to the past couple years when employment was so high.
I also think the cuckvid-19 thing is causing a lot of problems, I hope voting against the mandatory vaxxx mandate through OSHA will make companies less reluctant to hire.
Doesn't seem like to many companies are mandating the vaxxx for employment but with most people "sick" with cuckvid or Working from home it seems as though there is a drastic decrease in productivity.
I don't want to use the virus or The economy as an excuse but I have been applying everywhere for months and Have probably had less then 10 interviews none of which seemed to be very interested in higher me and I have no idea how I even got the interview in the first place.
A lot of the time when I apply they just auto-reject me for whatever reason.
Seems like people who already have experience have no problem switching jobs or Getting a promotion but for somebody like me it seems like the worst time ever to try switching jobs.
I was curious if anybody else has noticed this.
TL : DR
> ANON trying to get into I.T
> ANON has certification
> ANON has been applying for months and Making virtually zero progress.
