Anons, I have been seeing more and more of things that walk the fine line of the holy and the profane, talk of God and of Gnosis either singularly, or in synchrony, or in opposition to one another. There are some things about each that I understand well, and endeavor to do so endlessly (though I know least about Gnosis in general).
From what I understand, there is a problem with existence Man faces: We inhabit a physical world with finite matter, yet we simultaneously perceive infinity. How can the infinite exist inside the finite? For many, this premise is unpalatable (that infinity can be perceived at all beyond a conceptual standpoint) - it is a long-debated subject, naturally. To the doubters: at this point, there is not much I can say. I hope you will not derail the topic on that premise, as I'm sure you'd agree there is indeed a Question. Please feel welcome to discuss it.
Assuming that we are indeed Souls, and not automatons, how do we reconcile the two parts of the whole? Are our measurements wrong? Are our assumptions wrong? Is it that we are somehow cut off from part of ourselves, and if so, can it be undone?
One thing I am not well-versed in is the nature of image involved at this point in time. Can anyone share any insight on this? From what I gather, this symbol explains it as the concurrent existence of the physical and the ethereal. Your physical presence in a physical world is connected directly to a world without matter, time, or space as we know them. The physical (triangle-angles-matter) feeds into the ethereal (looping-formless-metaphysical) which feeds back into the physical, creating the Soul.
I invite you now to aid me in the furthering of our collective knowledge. Feel free to ask any questions on the topic. Please elect to enlighten us all. In the pursuit of Truth, we accept and welcome all our fellows as brethren.
