>>14356123I know living in a place like this would be an absolute pain in the ass, but god damn that is beautiful.
>>14356158>adobeSome relatives of mine used to custom build adobe houses in New Mexico. They'd design one, have it built, then live in it for however many years before designing and building the next. They probably built 5 or 6 homes this way, and I vividly remember how comfortable they were, even in the middle of summer. It was like walking into a cave, but a cave that had a ton of windows. Really cool stuff, literally and figuratively.
>>14356163Friend of mine built out a van to be a camper and traveled coast to coast in the US, focusing on national parks and stuff like that. Traveled around for a few months, got to see some really cool and interesting places. Other than being associated with faggot redditors, van travel is actually extremely economical and fairly simple, and it lets you travel for a long time on an absolute shoestring budget.
Probably wouldn't recommend doing it with a lady friend unless you've already lived with her for a while, except for shorter (a few weeks max) trips. But, that's one of the good things about vans; you can take them out for just a weekend or travel across the country.
