There are food shortages sometimes at fast food joints according to signs they put up at them but I haven't run into one yet, and I eat a lot of fast food.
The real shortage crisis is in cars, commercial and industrial equiptment that rely on computer chips. I do air conditioner and heater repair, and they are constantly out of stock of new ACs and heaters.
