something like that probably. i'm continuing to befriend one of the only humans in the japanese program though at least
it was bad enough to cause me to reconsider it at least. the professor in charge of it all is really intense and out of touch. i'm also getting the impression that she's incredibly manipulative, though that might just be me misreading the situation because we have fairly incompatible personalities.
it does seem like i'd only have to grit my teeth through another week or two of training, then i'd only need to deal with her intermittently for logistics, but those logistics seem extremely troublesome and it's likely that i wouldn't be able to get many hours anyway
