>>14407509long story short, i joined the wrestling team, got treated like shit by my fellow teammates and physically assulted, wrestled for the whole season and got 2nd at some tournament after a bunch of losses, my coaches were smart asses and cared more about varsity then then kids who weren't that great. after i lost my wrestle off and couldn't go to JV districts i skipped practice for two weeks because i was to scared to quit and get made fun of. my coach came to my history class and rasied his voice at me in front the entire class which was really silent and embarrassing and then he raised his voice at me some more in front of my teammates, then i saw him and the assistant coach laughing at me from a distance. i know because they silently said my name and were staring at me laughing even though i showed up to all my competitions, faced my anxiety, and put in work for the team. sure enough i got looked down on for quiting even though i went to more tournaments then some of the varsity kids. i will forever have a bias against high school coaches and have never had a good experience with any of them, the most smug sons a bitches you'll run into, you'll never go to a D1 college, you will never win state, and you will never make it to the big leagues, fuck you. fuck the martial aets community too
