Wormwood properties

No.14455536 View ViewReplyOriginalReport
Some articles say that the hallucinogenic properties of absinthe were a myth and people were just getting very very drunk. Other say that it was not a myth but maybe exaggerated.
I'm taking a tea with wormwood, walnut leaves, cloves and epazote because I want to test the p a r a s i t e theory (that word is mysteriously banned on pol for some reason...) and wormwood definitely has mind altering properties. I'm not taking a lot just 2 teaspoons in 1 liter of water, that give me 4 cups of tea and I drink 2 cups per day. It give a slight high state; my mind feel sharper but disperse, is not a good high for creative writing. Curiously the main active compound of wormwood, thujone it's a GABA antagonist and alcohol the best drug for writing is a GABA agonist.
