Also I have very poor eyesight so if you set up a scarecrow with a tape recorder saying mean things and I decide I would like to have a word with you about said mean things I would probably not realise it was a scarecrow and not you until I was very close, giving you the opportunity to launch a sneak attack which would be very underhanded. I hope you would not do this and your purposes are sincere and born out of innocent curiosity.
