The Bhagavad Gita is just a small portion of the Mahabharata.
It's pretty kino and dwarfs Homers literature.
Currently reading the Ramayana and enjoying it

The Bhagavad Gita is really short you fucktard, if it was in straight prose it would be called a "short story" or "novella", the only reason they print them thicker than 0.25" is because there's always several hundred pages of commentary appended

I don't know how many commentary-free versions you'll find because some of the words/concepts need more precise definition to really be understood at all with English but this one has minimal commentary suitable for plebs
