It's the other stuff you need to be worried about; background check, past drug usage/medical history, etc, they jump at the gun to find things to disqualify you for

good luck losing 20 pounds then. im 5'10 and my max weight is 186. i think your max weight would be 192~195lbs but around 185lbs is ideal so you dont get DQ

you can still enlist and take the pre-ASVAB test though but you wont start your military training until you're under your max weight

during military training, no. the training is usually a 2-3 month duration depending on which branch you choose btw.
