If they are needy: "Your success and happiness as a child is wealth in and of itself and they are rich in your success, so share with them your goodwill and love."
If they are not needy, and you just feel like giving them something "Same as above, but ask them what their dreams are and then fulfill them."
If they are asking you to support them because they cannot. "Fuck them. They are older than you, they should have their shit together and if they are tapping you as a resource to their problems, giving into those demands are only hurting them because you're enabling their shitty situation that they will never fix. If you love your parents, and they act like this, sincerely put up a boundary and say "Figure it out yourself, you are my elder, I will be cheering you on as your child."
