i had previously reached an agreement with my company for a new contract that i was supposed to sign once the current one expired. it was supposed to be an indefinite term contract and i was also going to get a substantial raise.
today i told them that i changed my mind and that i prefered a 6 months fixed term contract and that i didnt care about the raise. they were so offended by the fact that i would refuse such a good contract (indefinite term contracts are a rarity in shitaly these days so they have a point) and such a good wage at my young age (im 20) that they decided to suspend my current contract and fire me lol. they also called my parents to make sure they knew how much of a scumbag i was for refusing such a good deal. surreal experience.
